This week we welcome Dr. Craig Springer, Ph.D., a Clinical Psychologist at the Good Life Center for Mental Health in Cranford, NJ. Dr. Springer shares with us their personal experience through Covid-19, including a loss suffered in his extended family and the difficulties grieving.
He stresses focusing on the here and now, what you can do, and trying to avoid going down a path of yearning for what we wish we could do during these difficult times. We also discuss how to find appropriate and effective technology-based mental health solutions and why it’s so important to explore them.
We also want to include a link to Dr. Springer’s EventBrite page. He recently did some webinars to help with coping during these tough times and has a few more scheduled. You may also want to reach out to him at the center to see if he is sharing his past videos online in other places.
If you have a story to share please fill out the contact form at JerseyJobsAndBiz.com or you can email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. And we are starting a Facebook group for NJ residents to discuss the impact on them and share resources with others in the Garden State.
